ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE

The program runs from Monday, October 29, 9 a.m. to Friday, Novmeber 2, 7 p.m., followed by dinner.

We request participants to Check In by Sunday evening, after 5 p.m. and to plan to Check Out by 10 a.m. (after breakfast) on November 3rd, 2018.

If you are arriving in Bangalore early or leaving much later than the close of the training, you are requested to make your own arrangements for your accommodation before/after the conference.

GETTING THERE

Land and Air Travel

Participants book their own air and land transportation to the training program.

Visa

For participants coming from outside India and foreigners residing in India, please make sure you have sent us a copy of your passport and visa (or residential permit) before August 20, 2016.

 

Reaching the Venue

Please follow these directions to reach the venue. The local organizers will be busy preparing for the event and will not be able to give you directions on phone.

ECC is located opposite Deens Academy.

From the Airport

The Kempegowda International Airport in Bangalore (also known as Bengaluru) is the airport closest to the venue.

ECC is roughly 1.5 hours (52 km) from the Bangalore airport in non-peak hour traffic.

From the airport, take a licensed taxi to the venue (look out for “Airport Taxi” or “KSTDC Taxi”). Take the Devanahalli-Hoskote Route to avoid traffic.

Alternatively, Uber and Ola operate from the airport as well.

 

Bus Service from the Airport

There are no direct buses to Whitefield from KIA.

You can take any bus (bus route numbers usually in the series KIAS-8x, where x can vary) which goes towards Central Silk Board, and get down at KR Puram Railway station. From there, you can take an auto or a cab. There are even a few BMTC buses from here.

Alternatively, you can take bus number KIAS-4, which will take you to HAL main gate. From there, you can take any bus and go-to Whitefield. Take route number 333 if you want to go towards Whitefield village, or 335/ 335 AC for ITPL.

 

From the Railway Station

The nearest train station is at Whitefield, 8 km from our venue.

Other train stations in the region are:

Cantonment Railway Station, 20 km from venue

Bangalore Central (also known as Majestic) Railway Station: 24 km from venue

You can take an auto or a taxi to reach the venue.
